Fake News Media (Public Affairs Wales)

Public Affairs Wales

The relationship between the media and politics has never been more important – nor more fractious. As people get their news from a variety of sources, new channels of media has radically altered the way that government institutions operate, the way political leaders communicate, the manner in which elections are contested and citizen engagement.

Public Affairs Cymru will consider what these changes have meant in Wales and how things might evolve further. Panellists include: Guto Harri – Former S4C and BBC journalist – Also former Director of Communications to Boris Johnson; Ruth Mosalski – Political Editor, Wales Online; Prof Laura McAllister CBE - Professor of Public Policy, Wales Governance Centre; Owen Williams - Managing Director of Siml and Fay Jones – Chair, Public Affairs Cymru (Chair).
